Nanawagan si Estrada sa Pangulo na hayaan niyang lumabas ang katotohanan para sa ikatatahimik ng bayan. Kung may unity walk sina Gng. Arroyo sa Malacañang noong Martes, walk for truth naman ang sagot dito ni Estrada kasama ang mga miyembro ng dati niyang gabinete at mga kaklase sa Ateneo de Manila High School. Naglakad sila mula sa ballroom hanggang makalabas sa Manila Polo Club sa Makati. "Ito para sa transparency, wala nang cover ups. Tigilan na 'yun Executive Order 464, kailangang ilabas niya ang mga Cabinet members niya, harapin ang Senado," ani Estrada. Guest speaker si Estrada sa lingguhang pulong ng Rotary Club of Manila.

There was much excitement in Berlin last weekend when Hollywood actor Tom Cruise came to the German capital to scout filming locations for the upcoming movie "Valkyrie," in which he will play Claus von Stauffenberg -- a leading figure in a failed 1944 assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler. However he would have been unlikely to get a warm reception from Stauffenberg's son, should he have met with him to discuss the role. Stauffenberg Junior is less than thrilled about the celebrity Scientologist playing the role of his father. "It's bound to be rubbish," 72-year-old Berthold Maria Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg, a retired German army officer and the oldest of Claus von Stauffenberg's five children, told the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung in an interview published in Friday's edition.

Swastika-Tattooed Man Pleads Guilty To Hate Crime Charges
EL CAJON, Calif. -- A white man who punched a black man and broke his skull in a hate crime and admitted beating a man he believed was gay in another attack a year earlier, was sentenced Friday to 17 years in state prison, City News Service reported. Timothy Michael Caban, 40, pleaded guilty to two counts of battery causing great bodily injury and hate crime allegations and agreed to the prison term handed down by Superior Court Judge William McGrath in El Cajon. Caban admitted punching Sylvester Wilson, who is black, outside Don's Cocktail Lounge in Lakeside last July 8 in what prosecutors said was an unprovoked attack. .

Country singer Rodney Atkins was home with his family during the deadly tornadoes that swept across the state this month. If it hadn't been for a brief break in the tour he is on, Atkins would have been on the road with Brad Paisley, and Atkins' wife, Tammy Jo, son Elijah, 6, and teenage stepdaughters would have had to endure the chaos alone.
